Fifa 14 and its other pre-descendants are about the same and that probably refers to FIfa 15 too. Here are three incredible and effective ways I used.
Firstly, Fifa on iOS and Android are much easier to play because players are significantly cheaper and easier to negotiate with. When I play, I sell all my older players which I do not want and in this case, Barcelona, I sell Pedro, Song, but I keep Messi and Neymar and several younger players who have greater potential. by doing this I can make a squad which can grow into the greatest team ever, starting from around a 80+ overall stats to a 90+ or at least around the range of 90s. Through their 2-3 years of development, I buy in subs who can grow to around 85-89 and when the first team reach their full potential at the age of 21-25, the subs are also there to replace them should they get injured, banned or on international duty. That way, you can rotate your squad however you like and at the same time maintain a high standard and make a great roster. However, if you start with a poorer team with less transfer budget, you can only make a team of maximum 80-85 overall team since you have to get cheap and young players with great potential and if you save up, it would probably take you 3 years or so and by then these great players are worth 30-60 million. In conclusion, get young players with higher potential. You can do your research on these players

Secondly, you can start renewing contracts and 'cheat' the players money. If they previously earns 60k, you can change it to about 30k-45k and this lets you save more money to buy great player in a season or so. This is the least effective way but you can save/earn about 20 million a year unknowingly! Yes, 20 million!
Thirdly, hacking. This is the most effective way but it makes the game suck since you can totally own the game at the start. The hack can be found on

click here. I started out with about 1.3 billion which is about 1300 million. my team with an overall of attack: 91 midfield: 91and defence 85 and all these players at the age of 21-25.
